Step 1 : Assessment

We first assess the child to understand where help may be needed. The assessments we do depending on what the child may be experiencing difficulty with. Assessments will cover major subjects like Mathematics, English and Science its result will be added into the Learning plan that is called a personalised learning plan.

Step 2: Personalised Learning Plan

Trainers follows the PLP and specify which work the child is required to do in each lesson. The lessons are divided into smaller chunks to enable the child to move forward in small increments. With this method of teaching, a child sees results quickly, thus building confidence and creating enthusiasm to move forward. Children can also bring problems, which they may be having with their school work or with set homework to their IEC class, thus providing them with immediate solutions. This helps them to improve their confidence in their school life in addition to aid them with set work.

Step 3: Continual Self Assessment

Each section of the lesson is marked and graded by the child’s trainer twice in a week. These results are then feeded into the learning plan and the next lesson is prepared. This continual assessment allows us to ensure that each and every lesson is targeted to obtain maximum results.

Step 4: Feedback

At any stage of a child’s journey with us, parents can obtain verbal reports on their child’s progress from their trainers. Test result will be shared with the parents every week.
